The CHIP
Goal:
Create awareness, provide necessary interventions on mental health challenges and improve decision making on sexuality and reproductive health issues among adolescents in secondary schools.
Process Objective:
- To design a training manual by 30th September 2013.
- To recruit and train 96 peer educators in 4 schools by 31st Jan, 2014.
Outcome Objective:
- To establish school health clubs and train 192 peer educators in 8 schools by July 2014
Action Plan
- Design training manual and highlight program areas ( Sept 2013).
- Identify 8 schools in Lagos Mainland and Visits to schools to introduce the concept of School Health Club (Sept - Dec. 2013).
- Train 4 volunteers (Oct. 2013)
- Commencement of school Health clubs(1st of Nov. 12013)
- Conduct first evaluation by the end of Jan., 2014
- Dissemination of results to key stakeholders
