Details

The centre was commissioned on Wed. 9th Oct., 2013, built in memory of the late Dep. Governor, Mrs. Funmilayo Adunni Olayinka, who died of breast cancer. The establishment was in response to the increase incidence of breast cancer, cervical cancer, prostate cancer, diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases in Ekiti State. The Centre is equipped with state of the art facilities to address the need of early detection and treatment of cancer and other non-communicable diseases. The centre is built within the premises of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti. The focus is to ensure that cancer does not “kill any more women” in the State. At the centre, we provide a range of health care services together in one special place. We also provide awareness for the conditions across the State and encourage women/men to take advantage of this at affordable costs.
At the centre, keeping you healthy is not just about providing the best healthcare: we also go extra miles in arming member of the public with educational knowledge through sensitization and public awareness on cervical cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases.
