About the Organization

Asunafo North Municipal is located at the Southern part of Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. It is bounded on the East and North-East by Asutifi districts, North and North-West by Dormaa District, West and South-West by Asunafo South District. Farming is the major socio-economic activity in the area with cocoa being the leading cash crop. Food crops produced include cassava, plantain and coco-yams. The district is also noted for the production of timber due to the availability of vast natural forest. The inhabitants also engage in animal husbandry. There are quite a number of public and civil servants employed in various institutions in the district. The population of the district for 2015 was estimated to be 139,710 (projected from the 2010 Pop & Housing Census). Our revised mission is to contribute to socio-economic development by promoting health and vitality through bringing quality health care to the door steps of all people living in Asunafo North Municipal using motivated personnel who carry out wide range of activities such as Immunization, CWC services, Disease Surveillance and Response, Health Information Management, Maternal and Child Health Services, Outpatient and Inpatient Services and community Outreach Services.Our revised mission is to contribute to socio-economic development by promoting health and vitality through bringing quality health care to the door steps of all people living in Asunafo North Municipal using motivated personnel who carry out wide range of activities such as Immunization, CWC services, Disease Surveillance and Response, Health Information Management, Maternal and Child Health Services, Outpatient and Inpatient Services and community Outreach Services.
