To work in collaboration with all partners in the health sector to ensure every individual,household,community is adequately informed about health and has equitable access to high quality health and related interventions.

Goals
- To improve the safety of health care services in the health facilities in Ghana.
- To increase the capacity of health care providers in one region to adhere to standards of hand hygiene practices to reduce health care associated infections.
- To build capacity in customer care and behavioural change.
- To facilitate the implementation of standard hand hygiene practices among frontline health care providers
Objective
- To train 80 frontline health care providers in Brong-Ahafo Region in standard hand hygiene practices by December 2013
- At least 80% of health care providers in Brong-Ahafo Region government health facilities are tr1ained in hand hygiene practices by December 2013
- To train 80 nurses from the Regional Hospital and two District Hospitals in Brong-Ahafo i customer care and behavioural change.
- 60% of nurses in Brong-Ahafo government health facilities practice standard hand hygiene by the end of November 2013
