Mission Statement
To reform the health sector to effectively deliver quality health and social welfare services to the people of Liberia.
Services
- The provision of both preventive and curative health services as an Essential Package of Health Services (EPHS) and
- The provision of social services as Essential Package of Social Services (EPSS)
Goals
- Increase demand for health services utilization through community participation to decrease maternal and child morbidity and mortality
- Improve service delivery through supportive supervision and mentoring at primary levels to ensure appropriate interventions for pregnant women and children under five
Objective
- To empower inhabitants of 2 catchment communities through participation by the end of 2013
- To conduct supportive supervision and mentoring in 50% of primary health facilities by the end of 2013.
