To prevent the spread and mitigate the impact of HIV and AIDS in the private sector, as well as positioning members to contribute to the national response in their host communities
Revised Mission Statement.
- To mobilise the resources of the private sector to respond to health issues in the workplace and host communities.
- To create a platform for the private business sector to build a healthier workplace.
Services
- Conduct surveys
- Disseminate survey findings
- Establish NIBUCAA HIV and AIDS response data base
- Update Strategic Plan
- Document and disseminate 'good' practices
- Provide technical support for HIV and AIDS Workplace and community programs
- Develop and maintain strong documentation and monitoring systems
- Institute Business Excellence Awards for HIV and AIDS activities

- To increase the number of private business enterprises with actionable HIV & AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Workplace Programmes and Policies.
- Provide HIV Counseling and Testing as well as Malaria screening services to private businesses and their host communities
Objectives
- Increase the number of private business enterprises with actionable HIV & AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Workplace Programmes and Policies by 25% by December 2013
- Increase the number of private business enterprises accessing HIV Counseling and Testing as well as Malaria screening services by 30% by December 2013.
