Free antenatal services, child care services, emergency and trauma services, preventive health services, adult and paediatric ARV care, support and treatment, PMTCT services, maternity, surgical and ophthalmological services, nutritional services, laboratory and pharmaceuitical services, training of manpower
Goals
- To prevent and reduce childhood morbidity and mortality from diarrhoeal diseases in Nyanya community, Abuja Municipal Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Nigeria 4
- To execute a public health awareness and enlightenment program addressing common causes of morbidity and mortality in Nyanya community, Abuja Municipal Area Council
Objectives
- To educate all women seeking maternity and child health services in Nyanya and Asokoro District Hospitals about diarrhoea preventive strategies between October 2011 and July 2012.
- To improve the health status of the community by reaching out to 80% of the residents of Nyanya community, FCT, with a weekly health education program to disseminate information relating to child care and survival and prevention of various diseases between October 2011 and July 2012
