Current mission statement
To reduce the mortality and morbidity related to metabolic diseases in the clients/patients being followed up in Swiss Clinic Douala.
Revised Mission Statement.
To significantly reduce mortality and morbidity of non-communicable diseases in patients through constant training of staff and medical practitioners in Cameroon.
Services
- Conduct screening and carrying out patient education
- Prevention of risks factors,treatment and follow up of non-communicable diseases.
- Training medical doctors to be more equipped to manage metabolic diseases
- Conducting medical research.
Goals
- To increase the number of physicians who can manage non communicable diseases and provide safety aids needed by patients before referrals.
- To prevent the advent of strokes and sudden deaths in our patients suffering from non communicable diseases
Objectives
- To increase the number of our current physicians who can manage non communicable diseases from three to ten by the end of 2012.
- To equip all physicians training in swiss clinic with knowledge, skills and equipments to respond effectively and efficiently to all non communicable medical emmergencies by december 2012
- To conduct check up excercises on 70% and follow up on 90% of our target patients suffering from non communicable diseases by December 2012.
