About The Organization
Nyahururu County hospital is a county referral hospital within Laikipia county, Kenya. It was established in 1947as a British health facility for Africans. It has grown in stature through the years to a level 4 county referral facility. Its catchment area cuts across four counties namely: Nakuru, Nyandarua, Baringo and Laikipia counties, serving a population of about 2 million citizens. It has five departments namely outpatient, obstetric and gynecology , surgery, medicine and pediatrics departments. Currently, the facility serves 500patients daily. There are 20 medical doctors,26 clinical officers, 100 nurses and 52 support staff.
