Current Mission
We are responsible for the federal response to outbreaks and significant events affecting the nation’s health. We aim to achieve a high level of public health by early detection, containment and reporting of health events that are of public health importance both in the Sudanese and the international community. We do this by early planning, coordinating States activities and good collaboration with stakeholders, partners from other sectors and involving the communities we serve.We are responsible for the federal response to outbreaks and significant events affecting the nation’s health.
