VCT (voluntary counselling and testing), PMTCT, ART, PIT(Provider Initiated HIV testing)
Goals
- Increase awareness on HIV/AIDS and knowledge of the RDF members and communities living in our surrounding.
- Improve access to VCT, PMTCT and ART services for HIV positive RDF members and communities.
Objective
- To increase information on HIV/AIDS by additional 20% of all RDF members and community by Dec. 2011
- According to your comment, this is an ongoing project,and we are supporting it by A TASK SHIFTING project as our CHIP which consists of empowering nurses, community health workers both in the RDF and civil society on HIV/AIDS education,information,communication, VCT,PMTCT and ART services, who will easily access our clients.Our role is to monitor and supervise these activities based on regulatory framework and training standards.
- To increase access to HIV/AIDS services by additional 25% to RDF members and communities living in our surroundings by Dec. 2011
