The CHIP
Goal:
- To increase the %age of health Centres in the Western region which is fully Basic Emergency New Born and Obstetrics care (BEmNOC)-compliant to a minimum desirable level of 60% by the end of 2015
Outcome Objective:
- To increase the %age of health Centres in the Western region which is able to perform the seven standard signal Obstetric functions from 2.1% (Survey figure in 2010) to 60% by the end of 2015
Process Objectives
- To ensure that 80% of all practising midwives in the Western Region have had a structured in-service Life-Saving skills (LSS) training between January 2013 and June 2014
- To increase the %age of health Centres in the Western region which is able to perform the seven standard signal Obstetric functions from 2.1% (Survey figure in 2010) to 40% by July 2014
