Current mission statement

To provide health care delivery services through pharmaceutical care to children, youth and the aged by providing access to genuine and affordable drugs.

Revised Mission Statement.

To reduce infants and maternal mortality and morbidity through provision of Pharmaceutical care services in Oyo state , Nigeria.

Services

  • Provision of medicines and medical consumables.
  • Training of skilled workers to provide pharmaceutical services at the grassroots.
  • Regulation and control of premises where drugs are being handled.
  • Information services to the grassroots on drugs abuse and misuse (advocacy).

Goals

  • To reduce infant mortality and morbidity through provision of adequate malaria treatment coverage in malaria endemic area of OYO STATE.
  • To reduce maternal mortality due to malaria infestation by providing subsidized antimalarial drugs to pregnant and Nursing mothers in Oyo state.

Objectives

  • To provide improved malaria treatment through increment and regular supply of ACT to children (0-5years) in Oluyole Local Government from the current 30% to 70% by the end of December 2012.
  • To provide relevant anti-malaria treatment to 5000 pregnant women and Nursing mothers in Oluyole Local Government area of Oyo state by the end of December 2012.
