About the Organization
Moravian church was founded in 1897 by the London Mission Society in Tabora (Western Tanzania). The church has now spread all over the Country with over 500parishes . Since the 1920s the Moravian church established a hospital in Tabora and continued to establish dispensaries in different areas all over Tanzania. Currently there are over 20 health facilities established and managed by the Moravian Church in Tanzania. Moravian dispensary Tabora is one of the mentioned health facilities. It provides health care services like VCT services, antenatal and postnatal care among others.
Current Mission
To scale up mobile voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) and linkages to care for the general population & other high risk population, with a focus on high HIV + yield strategies.

Increasing the access and use of HIV Testing and counseling services for the people of Tabora; to enable individuals to know their HIV status, get linked to comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment for people living with HIV/AIDs so as to improve their quality of life.
