Current Mission

We are responsible for the federal response to outbreaks and significant events affecting the nation’s health. We aim to achieve a high level of public health by early detection, containment and reporting of health events that are of public health importance both in the Sudanese and the international community. We do this by early planning, coordinating States activities and good collaboration with stakeholders, partners from other sectors and involving the communities we serve.We are responsible for the federal response to outbreaks and significant events affecting the nation’s health. Effective  epidemics surveillance depend on sentinel sites its not cover all health facilities

To strength epidemics surveillance system  to cover all health facilities in Sudan.

To strengthen the entire intergrated surveillance system for timely detection of epidemics in Sudan by end of 2020 


Measure

To implement  60% of  integrated diseases surveillance and response at the end of 2016 in sudan
