The Mission of EMA is to ensure the rights and benefits of medical professionals (doctors) through lobbying and advocating for their rights and benefits, and update their professional abilities through continuous medical education) so that they could provide quality professional services, and work with the government and other partners for the improvement of quality health services to the Ethiopian community.

Goals

• Improve medical professionalism among ethiopian physicians
• EMA will promote evidence based medicine and public health in Ethiopia 

Objectives

• Establish and strengthen systems and and procedures for delivering CPD by the year April 2013 
• 100 physicians will be trained on Research Methodology and among them 20 will finalize their research by the year April 2013
